This is one of my favorite projects. While working at Mark Porter Associates, I was part of the team that did the famous Nature magazine redesign.
Nature, being the world’s top scientific journal, first published many of the most significant scientific breakthroughs like discovery of neutron, the structure of DNA, or the ozone hole.
We have delivered a design system for the print version of the journal, as well as the digital content. We made Nature website work beautifully on screen whatever the size. We also rebranded the magazine giving it a new typeface: Harding. Our team designed it specifically for science, in partnership with Commercial Type Foundry from New York.
Apart from editorial redesign we rebranded the magazine and 40 Nature-branded journals in print and online.

While working closely with Mark Porter, I learned a lot about publication design on paper and in digital: information hierarchy, grid systems, type design, digital content accessibility, editorial branding.
